Branding Session with Marisol Creative

I spent an afternoon with Emily of Marisol Creative, checking out her work and workspace. I have known Emily since high school, and even then she was always super creative. I still have the graduation gift she gave me, which has my name surrounded by words and phrases about me, or ones I used a lot.

Marisol Creative originally started as a wood burning business. She would (and still can) burn designs and words into wooden kitchen utensils, wooden holiday ornaments, wooden cutting boards. You name it, she could have personalized it! Now she has expanded and is now focusing on woven works.

I had a great time catching up with an old friend, checking out her work and of course goofing around with her two pets Biko and Imela. Peep the pets keeping Emily company while she works below.
